Information processed

When you refine a transcript, Rifine processes your sequence audio, source transcript, timing information and identifiers needed to associate the result with the correct project and sequence. Video is not sent for refinement.

License activation and service operation use customer and subscription references, device identifiers stored in hashed form, session records, processed duration, usage and job records, and diagnostics. Payment details are handled by the checkout provider; do not send card details or passwords to Rifine support.

Why information is used

Information is used to refine and return your transcript, preserve source timing, authorize access, enforce allowances and device limits, recover interrupted results, reconcile service usage, respond to support requests and prevent misuse.

Service providers

Audio and transcript content are transmitted to processing services to perform the requested refinement. Hosting and database services support secure operation and result recovery. Paddle handles purchases when live checkout opens under its own Privacy Policy. These services may process information in countries different from yours.

Storage and retention

Generated TXT and SRT files are saved to the output folder you choose. Temporary exported audio is cleaned up by the extension after processing where safe. This local cleanup does not mean that all service records disappear immediately.

Job results, provider response records, usage, licensing and transaction-related records may remain stored to support recovery, accounting, security and applicable legal obligations. Contact us for retention details or a deletion request. We do not promise immediate deletion of records required for these purposes.

Your choices and responsibilities

Only process material you have permission to submit. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary retention obligations. Avoid including unnecessary personal information in support messages, and do not send private credentials.

Website and checkout

This product website does not itself ask you to upload audio or enter an activation credential. Third-party checkout, billing and installer websites have their own privacy practices. Review their policies when you use those services.
